EmPowerize is a virtual program designed to support early stage BIPOC entrepreneurs and budding entrepreneurs with a new business idea or innovation.  Learn the ins and outs of the Business Model Canvas and learn about “The Pitch”.  We help you learn how to develop your pitch and pitch your business or idea.  The program culminates in a pitch competition with thousands of dollars of value in prizes!

EmPowerize was developed by Community Futures Grande Prairie & Region and has support form the Alberta Innovation Network and the 8 provincial Regional Innovation Networks.

Innovator in Residence

Through GPRINs Innovator and Residence services we can connect innovators to professionals and experts across Alberta and Canada to best meet the needs of each individual innovator and idea. We have access to IP/Patent law experts, idea refinement specialists, marketing specialists, manufacturers, emerging technology and blockchain experts, engineers, post secondaries and so much more. GPRIN can offer all of the Innovator in Residence supports to innovators who are looking for project support. GPRIN has limited resources on annual basis for project funding. Please contact GPRIN for more information and for a Project application.
